Attend Our Events

We host a monthly Suspension Saturday (or Sunday) meet where folks can come to explore suspension and build community in a safe and casual environment at The Clubhouse. We aim to create an inclusive, educational, and supportive space in which people can confidently explore suspension under expert guidance.

Everyone is welcome at our events. Suspending is not mandatory and you are welcome to come hold space, observe, and socialize. If you are interested in attending our events or suspending at an upcoming meet, contact us here.

General Information

  • Try to arrive within 30 minutes of the start time so we can all start the event together. But, definitely still come even if you are late. At the start of each meet we share announcements, do brief introductions, and get to know each other.

  • We typically begin around noon and do suspensions until the evening.

  • Bring a reusable water bottle. We have filtered water at The Clubhouse. We also have hot water and tea.

  • Bring your favorite snacks and drinks — especially if you plan to suspend — since we are usually at The Clubhouse for the entire day. However, there are also convenience stores and other food options nearby. You are also welcome to bring snacks to share.

  • Respect each other, The Clubhouse, and our neighbors in the building.

  • Remember, we want to be mindful of the environment we are creating for the suspendee and those around us as it can often be an emotional or intense experience.

  • If you are interested in suspending, please review our guide on suspending with us.

Does it cost to attend?

Our events are free to attend. But if you are able, we ask that you make a $5-20 sliding scale donation to the event to help us keep our events sustainable. No one will ever be turned away for lack of funds.

Can I bring someone with me?

Yes! Please feel free to a friend, partner, family member, or other companion — especially if you plan to suspend.

Do I need to stay for the entire day?

Everyone is free to come and go as needed. However, we strongly encourage folks arrive at the beginning of the meet, within 30 minutes of the start time, so we can all start together.

Where is The Clubhouse?

The Clubhouse is located in West Oakland. If you are interested in attending, please contact us for the address.
